Mary Hewitt Named La Vista Community Foundation Vice President

     The La Vista Community Foundation recently elected Mary Hewitt to serve as its Vice President.  This charitable foundation serves the residents of La Vista, Nebraska and the surrounding community through a semi-annual grant process.  In the past year, the La Vista Community Foundation has provided financial assistance for local programs such as recruiting foster parents in La Vista, emergency assistance for victims of domestic violence, parenting classes for at-risk families, recreational activities for youth in need and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors for unprotected homes.
