Myron J. Kaplan has been with McGill since 2007. Myron is a conscientious and detail-oriented attorney. He is well versed in real estate, general corporate, and banking law. The principal focus of Myron’s practice is representing businesses, both publicly and closely held, in a broad range of matters, including formation, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, and real estate.
Myron cares deeply about clients and their business interests. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge that he generously shares with clients and attorneys alike.
Myron was born in Omaha, Nebraska and attended the University of Nebraska, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with distinction in 1979. Myron graduated cum laude from Creighton University School of Law in 1982. Myron belongs to the Omaha and Nebraska State Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in the State of Nebraska and has earned the AV Preeminent designation in Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™, the gold standard in attorney ratings.
Myron gives back to the community and has served endless volunteer hours on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Omaha and is past Chairman of the Budget and Allocation Committee. He is also a former Member of the Board of Trustees of Beth El Synagogue and the City of Omaha Police Policy Advisory Committee. Myron also served as President of Omaha’s B’nai B’rith Chapter. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Milton S. and Corinne N. Livingston Foundation.
