
Nancy Roberts has extensive experience in environmental law in both the corporate sector and private practice. Nancy advises on facility operations, real estate and other assets, compliance issues, contamination assessment, and remediation.
In addition to advising clients on environmental risks and responsibilities, Nancy directs and reviews environmental assessments and audits, and provides advice on federal and state environmental regulations and permitting requirements. Nancy counsels landowners and works with land trusts on land conservation in the region.
Nancy graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1978. Nancy was admitted to the bar in 1978. She is a member of the Omaha and Nebraska State Bar Associations and a former member of the Nebraska State Bar Association Natural Resources & Environmental Law Section. She is the General Counsel and on the Board of Directors for Nebraska Land Trust. She has volunteered her time in the past on the Board of the Fontenelle Nature Association and Iowa Board of Trustees for the Nature Conservancy of Iowa.
Since 2007, Nancy has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® in the field of Environmental Law and earned the AV Preeminent rating in Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™, the gold standard in attorney ratings. She is also a fellow of The Nebraska State Bar Foundation.
In her spare time, you will find Nancy on a yoga mat, working in her garden and traveling. She practices responsible environmental management in all places she lives, works and plays to help make the world a better place for her six grandchildren.
