After graduating from high school in 1990, Tom Fehringer began his academic journey at St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota. He went on to teach high school and coach varsity soccer and freshman basketball at St. Raymond’s High School in the Bronx, New York City, as well as at St. Martin’s Secondary School on St. Vincent Island in the Grenadines, West Indies.

Tom earned his law degree from Creighton University School of Law in 1999. During law school, he spent his summers teaching at St. Ray’s and working in the Public Defender’s Office in Anchorage, Alaska. Following graduation, he joined the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps, serving at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. After receiving an Honorable Discharge, Tom continued his legal service as a civilian attorney at Schofield Barracks.

In 2004, Tom and his wife Angie returned to his hometown of Columbus, Nebraska, to join his father, James A. Fehringer, in private legal practice and to raise their four children. Following Jim’s retirement in 2023 after a 50-year legal career, Tom proudly continues the family legacy, offering clients practical, efficient, and honest legal representation.  Tom joined McGill, Gotsdiner, Workman, and Lepp, PC LLO in 2025 as an Of Counsel attorney.  

Known for his strong work ethic and clear communication, Tom brings a wealth of life and professional experience that gives him a valuable perspective his clients appreciate.
