J.D. Johnson has a considerate, attentive disposition and an astute way about him that can move mountains. He is organized, tech-savvy, and efficient. He takes a pragmatic approach to cases and thoughtfully analyzes all options.  J.D. represents companies and individuals in a wide variety of transaction, litigation, arbitration, mediation, and appellate matters. His practice areas include commercial litigation, contracts and agreements, insurance recovery and coverage, products liability, and commercial disputes. In addition to domestic representation, J.D. has also worked with clients’ international counsel in litigation and contractual disputes to better serve his clients’ needs.

J.D. received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Mississippi, graduating summa cum laude. He then studied International Law and the Law of War at Downing College at Cambridge University, Cambridge, England, and graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law. Upon graduation, he clerked for the Senior Circuit Court in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Mississippi and Chief United States Magistrate Judge John M. Roper in the Southern District of Mississippi.

J.D. is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and the Omaha Bar Association.  He is licensed to practice in Nebraska, Mississippi, and Texas. He has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross, Special Olympics, Mississippi Center for Prevention of Child Abuse, and is a former member of the Board of Directors for Pink Heart Funds. J.D. was also an Eagle Scout and volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America.

He and his wife have two little girls.  In their spare time, they enjoy playing chess, hiking, and photography.
